Walt Disney is one of the most iconic legends of our time but few of us know any facts about life story or his start in business. Even hundreds of years from now, people will still be talking about him.
He changed the world of animation with just the flick of a pencil.
He had his share of rough times as he was trying to find his place in this world. So much time has passed since he lived that it can be hard to remember the man behind Mickey Mouse. Before he was even working on his infamous Mickey voice, he was a struggling artist fighting over copyright claims, making his name relevant, and trying to be a family man.
While many people now know him now as the creator of one of the most famous production companies in the world, we also need to recognize him as the genius he was. He was a businessman, entrepreneur, a pioneer in the world of animation, and a devoted father. In order to get to know the real man, we have to look past all of the clickbait and even some of the things that Disney puts out about Uncle Walt.
We need to look at the parts about Walt that no one knew about. Much of that means learning about his military service, his family life, and how a lot of his personal life could be seen in the movies he created while he was alive.
If you’re someone who is also trying to better themselves in life, but is struggling on how to move from your current situation, you can look to Walt for inspiration. He is proof of the American Dream and how you can go from nothing to one of the most famous people in the world!
