The first film in the ‘Toy Story’ franchise that the toys’ original owner, Andy, doesn’t appear in.
The Hollywood Reporter confirmed that Don Rickles (Mr. Potato’s voice) had not recorded his dialogue for Toy Story 4 (2019) before his death on April 6, 2017.
3.This marks Josh Cooley’s directorial debut.
‘Toy Story 4’ has had the longest production cycle of any ‘Toy Story’ film to date.
‘Toy Story 4’ is the sixth Pixar film to display “The End” at the end after ‘A Bug’s Life’ (1998), ‘Finding Nemo’ (2003), ‘Ratatouille’ (2007), ‘Finding Dory’ (2016) and ‘Coco’ (2017).
‘Toy Story 4’ (2019) will be one of the first new films to be released on Disney+ alongside ‘Frozen II’ (2019) and ‘The Lion King’ (2019).
Tim Allen signed on for a fourth movie even before it was announced and Tom Hanks was all for it as well.
The movie will be released 24 years after ‘Toy Story’ (1995), 20 years after ‘Toy Story 2’ (1999) and 9 years after ‘Toy Story 3’ (2010).
In November 2018, Tom Hanks claimed that the ending was emotional and “a moment in history.” He also added that he couldn’t face the crew while recording his final lines because he got emotional with them. This came around 6 weeks after co-star Tim Allen said he couldn’t get through the last few scenes because of how emotional they were.
Each successive ‘Toy Story’ movie is 11 minutes longer than its predecessor. The original is 81 minutes, the second film is 92, and the third is 103. It remains to be seen if this fourth film will be 114 minutes.
This will be the last role of Bud Luckey, who had passed away on February 24, 2018 over a year before the film’s release. The film was dedicated to his memory.
The first Pixar film to become a quadrilogy.
Heading to Disneyland? Your favorite Disney Mom has you covered! Check out Day 1 at Disneyland on our recent trip to Southern California where I’ll share some of my favorite tips, and what to do if your kid has a meltdown at Disneyland!
Remember to subscribe if you haven’t already and hit the notification bell so that you’ll know when I upload a new video with Disney tips and tricks and join in on all the fun at the Mommy Mouse Clubhouse!
✔️Tip #1 When you’re on Main Street, stay out of the middle of the street! There are tracks for some of the Main Street vehicles that your stroller, or your foot can get caught in, and it’s not fun! Also, if you need to get down Main Street during a parade, the gift shops along the street are all connected so you can from one end to the other pretty quickly!
✔️Tip #2 Go to Fantasyland early, at rope drop, because lines for rides like Peter Pan’s Flight and Dumbo get pretty long later in the day and don’t have a Fastpass option.
✔️Tip #3 Try the Grey Stuff, it’s delicious! Trust me. You need this in your life. It is available for breakfast, lunch, and dinner at the Red Rose Taverne in Fantasyland. The Grey Stuff is red velvet cake and raspberry filling, with cookies and cream white chocolate mousse piped all around it. It is amazing, but very rich and is a great snack to share! The recipe is coming soon over at mommymouseclubhouse.com!
✔️Tip #4 Unfortunately, kids are going to have meltdowns and tantrums, even at Disneyland! Fortunately, some cotton candy and ice cream came to the rescue! Treats work sometimes, but you might just need to find a quiet place for your little one to calm down. If you’ve dealt with cranky kids at Disney, let me know how you handled it in the comments down below!
✔️Tip #5 My kids love Autopia! This attraction used to have Fastpasses available, but that is no longer the case. This line can take a really long time, so if it is something that your kids want to ride, you should try to ride it as early in the day as possible.
✔️Tip #6 Visit Star Wars Launch Bay in Tomorrowland. It is a heaven for Star Wars fans! Inside, you’ll find props and costumes form the movies, an area filled with Star Wars video game, which is my boys favorite part. You can meet some Star Wars Characters like Darth Vader and Chewbacca and there is of course, a gift shop!
✔️Tip #7 Don’t ride Space Mountain without a Fastpass! The line for Space Mountain gets long quickly and stays long the whole day. The only way we will ride it is if we have a Fastpass. I was able to grab Fastpasses for this right when we arrived while my family was in Fantasyland.
✔️Tip #8 Use Rider Switch. My little guy is finally over 40 inches so our whole family was able to ride together! If you have little ones who are not that tall, Disneyland has, what they call, rider switch! Basically, you can go up to the entrance of Space Mountain, let the cast member know that you need a rider switch. One adult will stay out with the younger children while the other adult rides. When they have finished, the adult that stayed with the kids, is able to skip the line, kind of like having a fast pass.
✔️#9 Don’t miss The Jungle Cruise in Adventureland! The Jungle Cruise is a must ride for our family. It is something that everyone can ride together, and the jokes are the best!
It was a long fun day at Disneyland! Make sure to subscribe and hit the notification bell so that you won’t miss Day 2 when we’ll be at disney California Adventure Park. See ya real soon!
